Abstract:
Understanding the properties of the newly-discovered Higgs boson has been one of the priorities of the LHC physics program. In this talk, I will present the measurement of Higgs boson production processes in the diphoton decay channel using 4.5/fb of pp collisions at 7 TeV and 20.3/fb at 8 TeV collected by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC, and discuss the essential role of this decay channel in the Higgs boson coupling studies. I will also cover the measurement of Higgs boson mass based on the combined data samples of the ATLAS and CMS experiments in the high resolution diphoton and four-lepton decay channels.
