Heather Gray (LBNL) Title: The Art of the Impossible: Probing challenging Higgs channels at the LHC

Abstract:
In the technical design report of the LHC experiments, measurements of the Higgs coupling to top and bottom quarks and the width of the Higgs were either predicted to be extremely challenging, if not impossible at the LHC. Yet, ATLAS and CMS have both produced interesting results for all these channels. I will highlight selected aspects of these measurements to discuss what allowed ATLAS and CMS to probe the “impossible“.
